my values

If you are seeking therapy, there is already an awareness and movement towards something different. I see my role as nurturing that courage with you to pursue the changes you are seeking. I value honest and real conversations. I offer a relational, collaborative space where complexity is welcomed and nothing about you needs to be simplified or explained away. My practice is rooted in the belief that healing happens in genuine connection — with a therapist, with community, and with the natural world. As a queer-affirming Latina therapist in Los Angeles, I bring cultural humility and an inclusive lens to every session. Whether we meet in the office, online, or outdoors for walk-and-talk therapy, my commitment is to show up honestly, stay curious, and help you reconnect with who you actually are.

my approach

I draw on mindfulness, somatic awareness, Buddhist psychology, psychodynamic depth, and practical tools depending on what you need. The therapeutic relationship is the most important indicator of success in therapy. I show up authentically to connect with you, integrating honesty, humor, education and a willingness to talk about what matters.

Sessions are paced to support real, lasting change — not quick fixes or endless processing without direction. I pay attention to what's happening beneath the surface: patterns, the body's signals, what gets avoided, what keeps showing up. I believe therapy should be honest enough to be useful.

For some clients, the work finds its shape outdoors. There's something about being held by open sky, by the sound of wind or water, by ground beneath your feet — it softens the part of us that has learned to perform, to explain, to manage how we appear. Nature doesn't ask you to have it together. It just receives you.

This isn't incidental. We are not separate from the living world — we come from it — and sometimes returning to it, even briefly, is what allows something true to surface.

Whether we meet in the office, walk outside, or connect across a screen, the quality of presence I bring stays constant: curious, unhurried, and genuinely with you.

This is an inclusive, queer-affirming space. I work with adults from all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals, Latine communities, high-achievers and people navigating bicultural identity.
